Winnow Anonymous Proxy was a shareware Internet proxy giving users the free ability to surf the web anonymously by hiding and thus faking your IP address.
As you may already be aware, Internet web sites and search engines are able to see exactly what your IP address is and almost exactly where you are located: which country your IP address is in and which city you are located.
Winnow is able to help mask that by selecting anonymous proxies that work from the Internet, testing them and then applying to your own Internet connection, thereby faking your address and sending companies collecting information about you something false.
Winnow Anonymous Proxy gives you the ability to test free anonymous proxies, delete dead ones and add new ones to the list which it will use to fake your IP address.
Unfortunately, development on Winnow Anonymous Proxy has ceased, but the latest version is still available online for anybody wishing to download it.

This download is licensed as shareware for the Windows operating system from VPN and proxy software and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The Winnow Anonymous Proxy 4.1 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the full version of this software.
